Dear PermaDAO Community Members:

As PermaDAO enters the third week of the new year, its vibrancy surges like a tide, accompanied by a continuous stream of results. In this dynamic week, the PANews and PermaDAO special series progressed into its thirteenth edition, and the PermDAO also lent its support to other community activities promotion. everPay was particularly luminous last week, not only announcing the joining of the first batch of applications to its marketplace but also forming a partnership with OKX. Furthermore, two technical meetings held within the community have propelled PermaDAO's development to a new climax, with the eagerly awaited HALO Token about to make its debut. Meanwhile, the weekly splendid knowledge-sharing sessions arrived as scheduled, including introductions to the decentralized digital vault protocol Akord and the innovative social cloud storage platform Moss.

1. PANewsDAO x PermaDAO Series Special Sharing Session #13

The PANewsDAO x PermaDAO series special sharing session, titled “Essential Guide for Web3 Learning”, has reached its 13th edition. This session features PermaDAO Builder Panda and JZ Invest researcher Ivan, who will share their insights on "Imagining the Crypto Craze: Navigating Through the 2023 Waves to the Uncharted Waters of 2024.”

2. The first batch of everPay app marketplace projects entered

everPay, PermaDAO's underlying incentive payment tool, is getting an important upgrade - the Open App Marketplace entry feature. The first apps to go live include Arweave Name Service, ARIS, Metaforo, Permaswap, PermaDAO, and Weweave. 3. everPay External Co-operation

a. everPay x OKX

everPay has entered into a new partnership with OKX! Users can now easily access everPay on the OKX APP (both iOS and Android) through the Discover page, as well as connect to their OKX wallet and balance directly within everPay when accessing everPay on a mobile browser!

b. everPay x imToken

everPay has established a new partnership with imToken! Users can now access the everPay service on the imToken APP (supports iOS and Android) directly from a browser page. Additionally, when accessing everPay on a mobile browser, users can connect directly to their imToken wallet! 👏

4. The Translation Group's newest gameplay is now online.

After several upgrades, the Translation Group is now getting a new round of updates. In this update, the Translation Team will change the original rank promotion mechanism (previously based on the number of ARs earned) to a dynamic ranking system based on each person's total incentives over the past 4 weeks, with the program automatically completing the ranking process. This means that translators' ranks will be adjusted weekly according to their previous incentive performance, ensuring that new members are allowed to grow and be recognized in a more level playing field. 5. PermaDAO Community Support: TinTin Meeting #28

PermaDAO is supporting the 28th edition of the TinTin Meeting, which will focus on "Layer 2's New Star, StarkNet, Uncovering its Technology Stack, Full Chain Games, and Other Highlights". Special guests of the event include our old PermaDAO acquaintance Maxlion to discuss the progress of the StarkNet ecosystem and global community development!

6. Two Technical Sharing Sessions

a. Permaswap Architecture and Open Source Programme

PermaDAO conducted a technical sharing session titled "Permaswap's Architecture and Open Source Plan", Permaswap is a cross-chain DEX supporting multi-chain asset exchange, and the session mainly introduced Permaswap's open source plan and information about HALO Token. What's exciting is that the much-anticipated PermaDAO governance token HALO Token is finally here! Technical leader xiaojay disclosed that the plan is to start implementing the Permaswap test network to release the HALO Token in the near month for the exploration of DAO governance on the whole chain.

b. Developing an Ultra-lightweight GPT Chatbot based on Arweave's persistent data

The second session invited the founder of NoncegeekDAO and MoveSpace, Big Dog Lee, as the guest speaker, and centered around "Developing an Ultra-Lightweight GPT Chatbot Based on Arweave's Stored Data".
