Sarcophagus DAO Celebrates Recent Testnet Success with a Free NFT Mint!

Sarcophagus DAO is celebrating the successful conclusion of its dApp's testnet phase with the mint of a free NFT on Zora. To honour the incredible community engagement, the DAO decided to release a free NFT named "Sarcophagus Testnet Commemorative NFT." The collection features a total of 7,777 NFTs, and you can mint yours here for free.

The team announced on Twitter:

While the team and community leaders are hard at work prepping for mainnet, we wanted to take a moment to commemorate the resounding success Testnet testing was! We had an incredible turnout of community testers! To mark this success, we have created a free commemorative NFT mint on Zora! Mint limit is 7777 free mints so grab one while they last! Thanks again to the incredible community of testers who made building the decentralized Dead Man’s Switch possible!

The testnet phase was an absolute success, with over 13,000 Sarcophagi created and SARCO, the DAO's token, becoming the top network token in swap volume during initial testing. Furthermore, the initiative saw the creation and participation of over 160 node operators, while scaling for volume and gas optimisations were made possible through a Graph Protocol integration.

Never heard of Zora?

For those unfamiliar, Zora is a decentralised protocol where anyone can "permissionlessly buy, sell, and create". A suite of tools has been developed to make it simple for users to get started building, from their "Nouns Builder" that allows deploying a custom DAO in minutes to the "Create" feature that simplifies the deployment of contracts for an NFT project. They also offer an API for retrieving NFT metadata and market data on any ERC-721.

Additionally, Zora provides on-chain market functionality via Zora V3, as well as a development kit for interacting with Zora's API through ZDK. The NFT Hooks and NFT Rendering tools further simplify interactions with the API and displaying NFT data respectively.

All of Zora's repositories are open source.
