Cerrone offers NFT of unreleased track “For You” in celebration of MID3M+
Disco legend and French Touch founding father, Marc Cerrone, is celebrating his participation in the new MID3M+ and a special concert in Cannes by releasing his new single “For You.” This exclusive release will only be available in 1000 editions as a non-fungible token (NFT) piece on the French platform Pianity.

Exclusive NFT “For You” live now
This release marks a world first in the music industry as it is the first time a performing rights collection society, Sacem, is integrated directly into the smart contract. This integration ensures that royalties are paid directly and transparently to rights holders. Cécile Rap-Veber, General Manager of Sacem, states that this release “marks the concrete implementation of our alliance with Pianity and our commitment to ensure fair remuneration for artists on new means of music creation and distribution.”
“For You” is not only available as an NFT, but also as a limited edition vinyl. The first 100 vinyls will be signed by Marc Cerrone and buyers will also gain access to the Cerrone Club, a private discussion group where the artist will share exclusive content and offer guest list access to future concerts. This Club offers the opportunity for the artist to create a real musical community of engaged fans who can interact with him and each other, and thus participate in the success of the artist.
The NFT is available for purchase at 30 € on Pianity, and streaming of the song is free for everyone. With this release, Cerrone continues to push the boundaries of music creation and distribution and shows his ability to appropriate new forms of expression.

I composed “For You” with the desire to find all the musical sensations I have lived in 50 years; to translate all that makes up the universe, emotion and sensuality of Disco. To do this, I chose to record with real musicians (piano, strings and brass section, etc.) which were played live, not forgetting to take advantage of the best recording and production techniques currently available.
I really made this creation to make this musical journey “For You”.
